Affiliate Tip - Product Catalogs

Product Catalogs are different than banners or text links in that they feature a Product, not an ad. You search for products by selecting Products in the Search box. You now can search by type of product. For example, if you have a Ringtone site, you might search on Ringtone Software.

You will now be shown all the Ringtone Software products available but only those you are joined will allow you to Get HTML. Click on Ringtone Media Studio 2. You will see the details of the product. Click Get HTML and you will see three choices of product ads:

  • Bold product name with description and box shot
  • Product name only
  • Box shot only

Get the html for the product link you prefer.

Now, when your customer clicks on the product link he is taken to the SHOPPING CART of your merchant - not to another product page. This will increase your conversion to a sale because you are requiring one less click from your customer.
